Bokata's Gelgoog, in the colours it wore on screen
This is the Bokata unit of the Gelgoog from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, released by Bandai Spirits as a High Grade 1/144 kit in June 2025. It shares its sculpt with the Sugai unit and swaps the colour scheme: pale blue-grey armour, dark navy thighs, olive green chest blocks and rear thruster units, red feet and yellow stripes on the legs. Bandai's English packaging spells the name "Bocata's Gelgoog (GQ)".
It suits the builder who wants a Gelgoog that looks right the moment it comes off the runner. The colours are mostly moulded in, and one Japanese builder review calls the moulded colour work the highlight of the kit.
Build difficulty
Bandai rates this kit 8 and over. It is a snap-fit build with no glue needed, and because the colours are mostly moulded in, paint is optional. Have nippers and a hobby knife ready to clean up nub marks, which is the Skill Level 2 toolset. The one area worth a little care is the rear thruster units, covered under What to watch for below.
Technical highlights
Bandai lists a beam rifle and beam saber that can be held in either hand, rear thrusters that move flexibly, and lead wire for the cabling. The beam saber has an HG-original mount that lets it attach on both the upper and lower side. The kit comes with two beam rifles, a beam saber with a second blade part, and a grappling hook with wire. The colour separation is handled in the plastic, and a small sticker sheet covers fine details such as the yellow lines. Paint is optional.

Moulded on-screen colours: the blue-grey, navy, olive green and red come from the plastic and the included stickers cover the fine yellow details, so it looks finished with little or no paint.

What to watch for

Rear thruster units: some builders report the backpack and thruster parts sit on simple ball joints and can pop off when the kit is moved or posed. Press them home firmly and re-check them after posing.

Yellow detail lines: a couple of reviewers note the small yellow lines on the feet and legs need the included stickers (or careful paint) to read properly.

Ankles and leg joints: one reviewer found the leg and ankle joints a little quirky in their range of motion. Test the pose on the shelf before you commit to it.
Builder tip: Bandai's saber action photo poses it on an Action Base, which is a good fit for flight poses.
