Ikuyo Kita from Bocchi the Rock! as a 30MP kit

This is Bandai's 30MP Ikuyo Kita, a 30 Minutes Preference figure kit of Ikuyo Kita from the anime Bocchi the Rock!. It comes with a guitar, microphone stand, effector and plenty of face and hand parts, so you can pose her mid-performance.

This is a model kit of a character, not a camera. Bandai's pictures are of a painted prototype, so treat them as the look to aim for.

Build difficulty

Bandai rates it 15+. It is an injection-plastic figure kit with water-slide decals for expressions. Bandai's page does not list the tools or whether glue or paint is needed, so check the manual before you start. Bandai also published a correction notice for a misprint in the assembly instructions, so read the manual carefully as you go.

Technical highlights

Bandai lists two face parts with tampo printing, plus a set of unprinted faces and water-slide decals so you can make your own expressions. There are interchangeable front hair parts for a leaning-forward performance pose, and a set of hand parts, including newly moulded ones. Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
