Neo Zeon's psycho-jammer specialist, exactly as it looked in Episode 7
The YAMS-132 Rozen Zulu is the psycommu-hybrid mobile suit that appears in the climax of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, built around six wired Psycho Jammers that let it strike from a distance without a single gun in hand. This release is the Episode 7 version: moulded in the true violet colour Bandai settled on after fan feedback on the original release, with the battle-damaged right arm from that episode included as an alternate part alongside the standard arm.
Build difficulty
This is a standard HGUC snap-fit build, no cement required. Where it asks more of you than a typical HG is the six Psycho Jammers and their wire connections, small parts that reward a bit of patience during assembly and posing. If you've built at least one or two HG kits before, you'll be fine. If this is your very first kit, budget more time than you would for a simpler release.
Technical highlights
The head swivels on a ball joint and pivots back on a hinge, the waist rotates a full 360 degrees, and the knees are double-jointed for a genuine range of poses. The articulated back binders open and close to bring the Psycho Jammers into position, and each of the six jammers comes with its own small display stand so you can pose them deployed and fanned out around the mobile suit, recreating the ranged-attack look from the anime.
What Makes This Kit Special
-
Six wired Psycho Jammers: a genuine ranged-attack display gimmick most HG kits simply don't have, each one poses on its own stand.
-
Episode 7 battle-damaged arm included: build the arm as it appeared in the anime's climax, or use the standard part instead, your choice.
-
True violet colour update: moulded to match the colour fans asked for, closer to the on-screen look than the original release.
-
Double-jointed knees and 360-degree waist rotation: genuine articulation for a kit built around dynamic ranged poses.
-
Four included display stands: covers a single full jammer-deployment display straight out of the box.

What to watch for
This is an older kit, originally released in 2014, with a long track record. Two independent build write-ups (a photoreview via Gundam Kits Collection and a separate Gunjap photoreview) plus the Gunpla Wiki's own kit page were checked. Nothing came up as a fit or stability complaint. The main things reviewers do flag are practical rather than problems: the six Psycho Jammers and their wire connections are fiddly during assembly, and posing all six deployed at once will likely mean sourcing extra display stands beyond the four included.
Builder tip: dry-fit the Psycho Jammer wires before committing to a final pose, they're easiest to position while the jammer heads are still loose.
Build Notes
No glue or paint needed for the standard build. Nippers and a hobby knife will help with clean-up on the smaller Psycho Jammer parts. Decide early whether you're building the standard or battle-damaged right arm, since only one can be mounted at a time. Suited to builders who've completed at least one prior HG kit.
