MGEX Strike Freedom Golden Week deal

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Excellent service and fast delivery

I purchased on 6 Jan and my order arrived on 13 Jan. It was very well packed, with both boxes in excellent condition. Cam even provided a small free gift in the box! Overall purchasing experience was smooth and hassle-free. I haven’t had the chance to build the kit yet, but based on the service and care taken with shipping, I would happily purchase from this store if there are other Space Battleship Yamato models available.

P-Bandai MGSD Gundam Base Limited Gundam Barbatos (Iron-Blooded Electroplated Colour)

M. U.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Fukubukuro and what's inside this bag?

Fukubukuro (福袋) is a Japanese lucky bag tradition. You buy a sealed bag at well below the retail value of the contents, and you don't choose what goes in. Every bag is packed here in Brisbane from genuine Bandai kits and accessories. We list the guaranteed minimum retail value and the structure of each tier — how many kits, how many accessories — but the specific combination is a surprise. That's the whole point.

Are these discounts applied automatically?

Yes, all discounts are applied automatically at checkout. So there is no messing around putting in discount codes.

What's included in this bundle?

Everything listed in the product description above. Every item is in new, factory-sealed condition from genuine Bandai stock. This is a curated bundle we've put together for Golden Week — the kits are selected because they work well together, not because we're clearing junk. The Compare At price reflects what you'd pay buying each item separately in the store.

Does this bundle include a gift card?

Gift cards are issued automatically at checkout based on your total order spend, not per product. Spend $95 or more and you'll receive a $10 gift card. Spend $165 or more and it's $20. Spend $260 or more and it's $35. The gift card is emailed to you and valid for 60 days. It works on anything in the store.

When will my order ship?

Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm AEST on weekdays, shipped from Brisbane. Every Golden Week order also includes a free Omake (bonus gift) — a surprise on top of what you ordered. Free shipping applies to orders over $199.
