GSI Creos Gundam Marker Basic Set 6 Pieces (GMS-105 Renewal)

The starter box of Gundam Markers. The GMS-105 Basic Set bundles six Gundam Markers from GSI Creos into one box, covering the colours and tip types most builders reach for first.

What's in the set. GM06 (Blue), GM07 (Red), GM08 (Yellow) and GM11 (White) standard paint markers, the GM21 Brush Type Gundam Gray for panel lining, and the GM22 G Metallic colour exclusive to this set.

What to use them for. Touch-ups, accent paint on small details, basic colour fills, and panel lining with the brush-type Gray. The standard markers have a chisel tip for filling small areas; the brush type flows for panel lines.

What to watch for. The markers are alcohol-based. Apply a thin coat, let it dry, repeat if you need more coverage. They are safe for Gunpla plastic but it pays to test on a runner offcut first.

What's in the set?

Are they safe for Gunpla plastic?

Yes. GSI Creos Gundam Markers are formulated for the plastic Bandai uses. Test on a runner offcut first if you want to be sure.

Can I use them for panel lining?

The GM21 Brush Type Gundam Gray is the panel-lining marker in the set. The chisel-tip markers are better for filling and touch-ups.

What if I make a mistake?

Wipe it off straight away with a cotton bud. Once dry, the GSI Creos Gundam Marker Remover (sold separately) clears mistakes cleanly.

Will these markers work on other models?

Yes. They are alcohol-based and safe on most styrene plastic kits, not just Gunpla.

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
