MetalGarurumon, Gabumon's Mega form from Digimon Adventure
This is the Figure-rise Standard MetalGarurumon, the cybernetic wolf from Digimon Adventure and the second Digimon released in Bandai's Figure-rise Standard line based on the anime. It is a snap-fit model kit moulded in colour that builds into a fully posable, four-legged MetalGarurumon with a wide range of movement and its signature Beam Wing effect.
Build difficulty
It is a snap-fit kit, so no glue and no paint are needed for a standard build, and the colour is moulded in. It is a compact kit of around five runners, manageable for a careful beginner and a quick, satisfying build for anyone who has done a kit or two. A pair of nippers for clean runner removal is the tool worth having.
Technical highlights
Each joint moves through a wide range across the shoulders, legs and tail, so MetalGarurumon holds the action poses from the show. The characteristic Beam Wing is reproduced as a removable PET-sheet effect part that clips on when you want it and comes away when you don't. A foil sticker sheet handles the finer markings, and the whole kit is moulded in colour so it looks right straight off the runner.

What to watch for
We haven't found a consistent body of independent build reviews for this specific kit, so we can't pass on verified fit-and-finish feedback. General note for a four-legged kit like this: take your time on nub cleanup where the metallic parts show, since gate marks read more on the bright plated-look plastic.
Builder tip: a dark wash in the recessed mechanical detail makes the metallic wolf really pop.
