Alpha Sisters Phantasm 2 is Bandai's second run at the THE iDOLM@STER: SHINYCOLORS crossover costume for the 30MS line, an original stage outfit designed for the 30 Minutes Sisters body platform. Color C swaps the earlier black-dominant palette for a white-forward scheme with glitter-infused clear accents.

This is an option body parts set, not a complete figure. It's built to dress an existing 30MS body kit rather than stand alone.

Build difficulty

Skill Level 2 assembly. Parts are snap-fit onto a compatible 30MS body with no cement and no paint required, though a light sand on the ankle joint is worth doing before final assembly (see What to watch for). Straightforward for anyone who has built a 30MM or 30MS kit before, and manageable as a first option-parts set.

Technical highlights

The corset-style dress, ruffled skirt panels and thigh-high boots are all moulded in colour, with glitter-infused clear plastic on the accent pieces for a sparkle under light that plain white plastic doesn't give. The set includes interchangeable chest pieces so the same base costume can be styled a couple of different ways, plus two spare forearm parts. Articulation is standard 30MS: good torso rotation, though the rigid skirt panels limit knee bend and the corset limits elbow travel to roughly 90 degrees.

Assembly Guide

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED
Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.
No Cement Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

No Painting Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
