Straylight's Fuyuko Mayuzumi, built in 30MS format
Fuyuko Mayuzumi is a member of Straylight in THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors, and this Bandai Spirits 30 Minutes Sisters (30MS) kit turns her into a fully posable, buildable idol figure. It is an all-in-one set, so the whole body, costume, head and hair come in the one box, no separate body parts needed.
Bandai released it in Japan on 26 April 2025, rated 15 and over. It suits Shiny Colors fans, 30MS collectors, and builders who like a character kit with real detail work in the costume.
Build difficulty
This is a snap-fit kit built with nippers only, no glue or paint needed. The name says 30 minutes, but a Japanese reviewer building it as a first plastic model took about 7 hours 45 minutes, and said the upper body took the longest because of its many small parts and a sticker. Plan for a relaxed evening or two rather than half an hour. Newer builders can manage it with patience, and the kit rewards careful nub clean-up.
Technical highlights
The costume chest is engineered so the multicolour separation comes straight off the runner, with no painting. The heart on the chest is a plastic seal, the skirt uses a printed sheet to get its wavy shape, and some skirt parts use smoked clear plastic with glitter. Skin parts have a matte mould finish so they catch light softly. The head carries ball-jointed twin-tails and side hair, and the back hair swings.
What makes this kit special
-
Three tampo-printed faces: a winking smile, an open smile and a worried expression, each printed rather than stickered, with the mouth interior colour separated by part.
-
Hair without the ornament: front hair and twin-tails can be swapped to a version with no hair ornament.
-
Microphone hands: three hand parts shaped to hold the microphone, plus a set of expressive hands.
-
Costume detail from the runner: feather details on the back are moulded in plastic, and the chest and skirt colours come from parts and printed sheet, not paint.
-
Glitter clear skirt parts: smoked clear plastic with glitter on part of the skirt.
-
30MS format: Bandai shows her combined with a separately sold 30MS option body parts set.
What's in the box

Compatible accessories
Bandai's own promotional image shows her combined with the separately sold 30MS Option Body Parts Sigma Sisters Paradox 1 [Color A]. That option set is not included with this kit. She is built on the 30MS format, so other 30MS option parts are the natural way to customise her.

What to watch for
-
Twin-tail posing is limited: one Japanese review notes the twin-tail ball joints have almost no range of movement, so hair expression is fairly fixed.
-
Parting lines and gate marks: the same reviewer found them noticeable on the shoulder and thigh parts, so plan some clean-up if you want a tidy finish.
-
Knee fur parts are fiddly: seating the fur parts below the knee was described as awkward.
-
Small parts in the upper body: a first-time builder found the upper body the slowest section, with many small parts and a sticker.
Builder tips: take the head and upper body slowly, test-fit before pressing parts home, and use fine nippers for the small hair parts. The reviewers also praised the wide hip and leg joint range and the quality for the price.
Build notes
Nippers are enough, with no glue or paint needed. A hobby knife or fine sanding stick helps with gate marks. Recommended age 15 and over per Bandai. Allow several hours rather than 30 minutes.
