The HGUC 1/144 RX-178 Gundam Mk II (AEUG) Revive brings Kamille Bidan's stolen Earth Federation prototype into your collection with modern High Grade engineering. The Mk II is one of the most important mobile suits in the Universal Century timeline. It was the unit that kicked off the Gryps Conflict when the AEUG swiped three of them right out from under the Titans, and this Revive version updates the original HGUC release with improved proportions, better articulation, and cleaner part separation throughout.

This kit is designed for beginner to intermediate builders. The Revive treatment means the joints move with noticeably more fluidity than the original kit, and the colour separation across the white and blue AEUG livery is clean throughout. The cockpit hatch opens to reveal the interior, and the full weapons loadout gives you plenty of posing options straight out of the box. A solid, satisfying build that holds up well on the shelf.

Builder Notes
A solid Revive kit with good articulation and a strong weapon loadout. A few things worth knowing before you start.
The joints on this kit are initially very tight, particularly the shoulders. Do not force stiff joints. Work them gently and gradually until they loosen naturally. Forcing a tight ball joint risks snapping it at the socket, which is difficult to recover from.
The backpack attachment loosens with regular handling. If it becomes too loose to hold position, apply a thin layer of plastic cement to the connection point and allow it to set completely before reattaching. A second layer can be added if needed. Nail polish works as an alternative using the same method.
The waist connection is on the lighter side for posing. A fixed, stable pose suits this kit better than one requiring a pronounced waist twist.
The vulcan pod restricts head rotation. Factor this in when choosing a display pose, particularly if you want the head turned to the side.
The yellow details on the shield come as stickers. They look fine applied carefully, but painting them is worth considering for a cleaner long-term finish.
