Riku's HG Build Divers ace, four blades and a full GN loadout
The Gundam 00 Diver Ace is Riku's mobile suit from Gundam Build Divers, built around the silhouette of the original 00 Gundam but reworked as an original Diver unit for the GBN metaverse. If you grew up on the twin-drive Celestial Being suits and want that same GN-particle look in a High Grade that snaps together in an afternoon, this is the one.
Build difficulty
This is a standard High Grade build: snap-fit construction, no cement and no paint required straight off the runners. Expect a build in the one to two hour range depending on how careful you are with the foil stickers. It's a fair kit for a first HG or a relaxing build for anyone who wants a straightforward evening project.
Technical highlights
The kit is moulded in its finished colours: white body, navy blue armour, gold face vents and red foot accents, with the GN particle weapon tips moulded in translucent green plastic rather than painted on. Two bonus runners in clear green and clear red are included, giving spare parts that can be swapped in as replacement head parts. Articulation is standard HG Build Divers spec, enough to hold both a single-blade and a four-blade stance without the joints fighting you.
What makes this kit special
-
Four blade weapons in the box: two GN Diver Swords and two Super GN Sword IIs, enough to fan out a full quad-blade display pose.
-
Clear-moulded GN particle tips: the weapon effect parts are translucent green plastic, not paint, so the glow reads straight off the runner.
-
Bonus clear runners: two spare runners in clear green and clear red double as replacement head parts for a different look.
-
00 Gundam-inspired silhouette: built on the twin-drive 00 Gundam frame, reworked as Riku's own Diver unit for the Build Divers metaverse.
-
Snap-fit, no paint needed: moulded in final colours, so it looks right straight off the runners.

What to watch for
Dedicated build reviews for this specific kit are thin on the ground. A general web search plus a targeted Reddit and YouTube sweep turned up only a single low-confidence blog comment (not a full review) noting the kit reuses the clear leg and knee-condenser parts from the base 00 Gundam mould, similar to how the 00 Raiser shares tooling with its parent kit. That's one unverified mention, not a pattern, so it's noted here as background only rather than a confirmed issue.
Build notes
No glue or paint required. A basic tool set (nippers, hobby knife, tweezers) covers everything. Build time runs around one to two hours. Recommended 15 and up.
