Series FAQ

MegaHouse Cosmo Fleet Special Mobile Suit Z Gundam Argama (Renewal)

The Argama launches again as a finished display model

The Argama is the AEUG warship from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and this is MegaHouse's renewal of its Cosmo Fleet Special model. It is a fully pre-painted finished piece about 190 mm long, so there is nothing to build, glue or paint. The renewal adds slight weathering to the paintwork and comes with waterslide decals.

Build difficulty

None. It arrives as a finished, painted model. The only hands-on part is optional: the water-transfer decals are yours to apply if you want the extra markings, and a few parts can be swapped to change how the ship is displayed.

Technical highlights

The hull is pre-painted with a slight weathered finish. The Mega Particle Cannons can be deployed to the left and right, the residential (housing) blocks can be swapped, and the length of the bridge can be selected. The set ships with a display stand and three mini mobile suits in matching scale.

What makes this model special

  • Pre-painted finished model: about 190 mm of painted hull, ready to display straight from the box.
  • Slight weathering: the renewal adds a lightly dirtied finish for a more realistic look.
  • Waterslide decals included: water-transfer markings to apply if you want them.
  • Deployable Mega Particle Cannons: they can be set out to the left and right of the hull.
  • Swappable housing blocks and bridge length: change the setup to suit your display.
  • Three mini mobile suits: a Z Gundam, Hyaku-Shiki and Rick Dias in matching scale.

What's in the box

  • Pre-painted finished Argama model x1
  • Mini mobile suit figures x3 (Z Gundam, Hyaku-Shiki, Rick Dias)
  • Display stand x1
  • Waterslide decal sheet x1

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Excellent service and fast delivery

I purchased on 6 Jan and my order arrived on 13 Jan. It was very well packed, with both boxes in excellent condition. Cam even provided a small free gift in the box! Overall purchasing experience was smooth and hassle-free. I haven’t had the chance to build the kit yet, but based on the service and care taken with shipping, I would happily purchase from this store if there are other Space Battleship Yamato models available.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
