A fine pin vise for small drill bits. The Manwah Fine Pin Vise S1 is a hand drill holder sized for the small stuff: it grips bits from 0.2mm to 0.8mm, the range you use for pin holes, panel detail and fine work on a kit.

What it's for. Hold a fine drill bit, twist by hand, and open clean small holes: for brass pins, antenna and aerial mounts, lightening holes, or starting a panel-line detail. The small chuck keeps fine bits centred so they do not wander or snap.

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
