Bandai GU GF13-017 Shining Gundam

Shining Gundam, ready-built and ready to pose. This is the Gundam Universe Shining Gundam, the mobile fighter of Neo Japan from Mobile Fighter G Gundam. It is a fully built and painted action figure, about 15cm tall. No assembly, no paint, take it out and pose it.

The gimmick. A first for the Gundam Universe line: Shining Gundam converts between its normal mode and battle mode. It comes with long and short beam swords, and a dedicated right hand for the Shining Finger.

What's in the box. The main figure, interchangeable left and right hands, the Shining Finger right hand, an interchangeable face, the beam sword blade set, and a joint for a Tamashii Stage (sold separately).

Fast Australian shipping. Order before 2pm on a weekday and it ships the same day from Brisbane.

What to watch for. This is a finished figure, not a model kit, so there is nothing to build. To pose it in the air you will want a Tamashii Stage, sold separately.

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
