Harpy: The Dark Angel of the Skies

The Harpy version of the Gigantic Arms 07 Lucifer's Wing is now available, and it's more versatile than ever! This fearsome mecha can transform into two different modes: Beast Mode and Humanoid Mode. In Beast Mode, it has a grip on its back that can be used to carry Frame Arms Girl or Megami Device figures. In Humanoid Mode, it becomes a powerful warrior that can wield the included Giga Slash Edge sword.

The Harpy is also compatible with other Hexa Gear and Frame Arms items. The armor is molded in the same blue-black color used for Hexa Gear items, and the frame is molded in the Hexa Gear gunmetal color. This makes it easy to combine the Harpy with your other mecha to create even more powerful formations.

The feather unit on the Harpy's back has a clear purple blade that can be extended. This gives the Harpy a powerful ranged attack, and it can also be used to slice through enemies in close combat. The mounting base of the feather unit uses a 3mm-diameter shaft, so it can also be removed and used with other mecha.

Assembly Guide

SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

No Cement Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

No Painting Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. An incredible looking kit with one flaw

The look of the kit is incredible and the fact it comes with a stand for the Lance is amazing QOL. However, there is one glaring issue, in that there is no shoulder joint. You heard me. The arms can only rotate, not move outward like in basically all other gunpla. I don't know why they built it this way but it is the one blemish on an incredible looking kit.

What can I say, this build is incredible, although I didn't manage to get the leds working, still, for my first perfect grade, it definitely didn't disappoint, I'm still finishing up the final few steps but very easy to follow instructions even without being able to Japanese.

Its a brand new design of an Zaku that we are all familiar with.
The colouring is closely resembling to a police officers uniform.

Pretty good, but not the best Barbatos kit

Barbatos Lupus Rex is probably my favourite design from IBO besides Bael and Full City Rebake, but my copy of this kit has a couple of problems. The many issues that people have is that the joints are awful, but mine has none of that for now, also the proportions are a bit off compared to the anime, hopefully when Bandai releases a MG 1/100 Lupus Rex these problems are not in that kit
