The Liber faction's answer on the battlefield
The 30 Minutes Fantasy line splits its warriors between two rival factions, Liber and Rozen, and the Lancer job is where that rivalry shows up most directly: same base body, same class, different face and colourway on each side. The Liber Lancer carries a lightning-attribute Element Core, wields a lance and shield, and shares its fully posable Silhouette body with the 30MF Liber Knight.
This one's for builders who want a complete, self-contained fantasy figure without hunting down separate armour sets first, and for anyone building out a Liber faction shelf.
Build difficulty
Rated Skill Level 2. It's snap-fit with no cement or paint required, but parts need to come off the runners with a pair of nippers and may need a light clean-up at the gate marks, so it's a step up from the simplest Skill Level 1 kits. Bandai markets the Liber Lancer as a starter kit for the line. The "30 Minutes" name is the line's own build-time target for an experienced builder rather than a guarantee, so allow extra time on a first attempt.
Technical highlights
The Liber Lancer runs on the same Silhouette base body as the 30MF Liber Knight: independently articulated head, neck, chest, torso and waist, with a sliding mechanism at the waist joint that keeps poses looking natural. Faction-specific shoulder and waist armour connects through a joint on the back, and that same connection point is what lets the lance and shield sit naturally in a fighting stance. Every part is moulded in its finished colour, so there's no paint required.
What makes this kit special
-
Shared Silhouette body: uses the same fully posable base frame as the 30MF Liber Knight, so articulation is proven across the line.
-
Lance and shield loadout: a genuine spear-and-shield combination, attached through the back-mounted armour joint for real reach in dynamic poses.
-
Lightning Element Core: gives the Lancer its own lore identity within the 30MF world.
-
Faction-distinct design: different face sculpt and colourway from the Rozen Lancer.
-
Snap-fit, zero paint: fully colour-separated parts, no cement or paint needed.
-
Compatible with universal 30MF accessories: works with the line's universal weapon and item sets.

Compatible accessories
No Class-Up Armour set has been released specifically for the Liber Lancer. The class-specific Class-Up Armour sets elsewhere in the 30MF range are built for their own class and aren't confirmed to fit the Lancer, so they're not linked here. What does fit: the Bandai 30MF Item Shop 3 (Weapon Option), built to work across the 30 Minutes Fantasy line. No display base is included, and Mecha Express doesn't currently stock a compatible action base for the 30MF line, so one isn't linked here.

What to watch for
The lance is a long weapon on a small figure, so dynamic overhead or lunging poses put real leverage through the hand grip and shoulder joint. Check how firmly the lance is seated in the hand before displaying it in an active pose. Take care removing armour parts from the runners to avoid stressing the back-mounted joint before the kit's even built.
Builder tips: test-fit the lance in each hand part before final assembly so you know which grip gives the pose you want. A light dry-fit of the armour before snapping it fully home makes it easier to see which way each panel is meant to sit.
Build notes
No glue required. A pair of nippers and a hobby knife will get you through the armour and weapon parts cleanly, and a fine file or sanding stick helps tidy up any gate marks. No batteries, no LEDs. Build time is roughly in line with the "30 Minutes" name for an experienced builder; first-timers should allow longer. Bandai's default recommended age for the 30MF line is 15+.
