Class up your Rozen Assassin into a dual-wielding blur
The Rozen Assassin Slash swaps the standard Rozen Assassin into its rogue-class configuration, built for fast, close combat rather than a straight fight. The set carries a water-attribute Elemental Core and its own face sculpt, so it reads as a genuinely different character on the shelf, not just a costume change.
This is an Armour Cross parts swap, not a standalone figure. You'll need the Rozen Assassin base kit (sold separately, linked below) to build the complete Slash configuration.
Build difficulty
This is a Skill Level 1 set. The armour and weapon parts snap straight onto the Rozen Assassin's existing joints, with the usual gate cleanup from the runners and no cement anywhere in the build. Newcomers to the hobby can handle this one alone. Expect well under half an hour once the base figure is already built.
Technical highlights
Parts are moulded in the set's own colours, so no painting is needed for a finished look. The longsword and paired short swords give the figure two distinct weapon loadouts without an awkward hand-swap, and the joint parts set is matched to the Rozen Assassin's existing articulation rather than fighting it.
What makes this armour set special
-
Genuine class-up, not a reskin: the Armour Cross system replaces the Rozen Assassin's stock armour, turning it into a different character.
-
Dual-wield loadout: one longsword plus a pair of short swords gives two distinct weapon setups for posing.
-
Water-attribute Elemental Core: ties the figure into the 30MF lore system and visually separates it from other Class Up variants.
-
Its own face sculpt: the Slash configuration isn't just recoloured armour, the head is different too.
-
Snap-fit only: no cement, no paint, straight out of the runners and onto the base figure.
-
Distinct from the Liber Assassin Slash: different faction, different face, different colourway.

What to watch for
This is parts only. No base figure and no display stand are included. If you don't already own a Rozen Assassin, order both together or the armour has nothing to attach to. The joint parts are small, so keep the runners and instruction sheet until the swap is finished in case a spare peg is needed.
Builder tip: dry-fit the armour panels against the Rozen Assassin before snapping them fully home. Forcing a panel the wrong way can mark the plastic.
Build notes
No glue and no paint needed, parts are colour-separated straight from the runners. Basic nippers and a hobby knife make for a cleaner result but aren't essential for a kit this simple. Realistic build time is 15 to 25 minutes once the Rozen Assassin base figure is already assembled. Bandai's general guidance for the 30MF line is ages 15 and up; we couldn't confirm a specific printed age for this exact set.
