Bandai 1/144 30MM EXM-X20A Levinix (Type-A)

Bandai 1/144 30MM EXM-X20A Levinix (Type-A)

The EXM-X20A Levinix (Type-A) is one of the more aggressive front-line combat frames in the 30 Minutes Missions line, designed for close-combat specialists with a sharp, angular silhouette and a dedicated energy-weapon loadout. The Type-A configuration ships with energy daggers and revolver swords as the primary armament, marking this kit out as the offensive-melee variant in the Levinix series.

If you build 30MM and want a kit with strong out-of-the-box combat character, the Levinix Type-A is one of the most distinctive options in the line.

This kit is designed for beginner-to-intermediate builders and is a clean snap-fit build with the modular 30MM joint system.

The Levinix Type-A carries an advanced joint structure that supports dynamic close-combat posing, with the energy daggers and revolver swords mounted through standard 3mm hardpoints for swap-friendly equipment changes. The energy shield and small armour pieces round out the loadout, and the kit retains full compatibility with the wider 30MM modular system for kitbash customisation.

What Makes This Kit Special

  • Aggressive Combat Frame Design: Sharp, angular silhouette built for close-quarters combat
  • Dual Revolver Swords: The Levinix Type-A's signature melee weapons
  • Four Energy Daggers: Throwing or hand-held configurations for varied combat poses
  • Energy Shield: Defensive option for combat poses
  • Advanced Joint Structure: Strong articulation for dynamic close-combat posing
  • Small Armour Add-Ons: Additional armour pieces for build customisation
  • Full 30MM Modular Compatibility: 3mm peg system across all parts for cross-kit customisation

Fast Australian Shipping

Same Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm weekdays ship same day. Orders after 2pm or on weekends ship next business day.

Australian Stock: In stock and ready to ship Australia-wide from Mecha Express. The 1/144 30MM EXM-X20A Levinix (Type-A) is the aggressive combat variant with four energy daggers, two revolver swords, energy shield, and small armour pieces included.

What to Watch For

The energy daggers are small and easy to lose during posing — work over a tray or a contained area. The revolver swords have detailed grip points that can stress the hand parts if you push the grip past natural alignment; align before pushing. The angular armour pieces have crisp gates on the runners; clean nippers and a hobby knife give the best edge finish.

Builder Tips: Panel lining brings out the angular armour detail. Black panel lining works well across the typical 30MM colour palette. Consider mixing the Type-A's parts with another 30MM kit's body for custom melee-focused builds — the dagger and sword set is one of the more useful weapon collections in the line.

Build Notes

Snap-fit assembly. No glue required. Nippers recommended for clean part removal. Expect a 2-hour build with sticker application. Recommended age 15+.

Assembly Guide

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these Gunpla kits the hottest sellers?

These kits are fan favourites for their detailed design, affordability, and build size, offering a balanced and enjoyable building experience.

Are these hottest seller kits suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Especially the HG kits, which are known for their fewer parts and simplicity, making them a great starting point for new builders.

What is the level of detail in the MG and RG hottest sellers?

MG kits boast a detailed inner frame and additional parts, while RG combines MG’s complexity with HG’s size for an intricate, compact build.

Can I get replacement parts if I lose some during the build?

Yes, if you buy a kit from Gundam Express Australia we will source replacement parts for you. This is not a quick process as parts need to come from Bandai in Japan.

How much space will I need to display these Gunpla?

HG and RG Gundam kits are compact, while MG Gundam are larger but still manageable. You won’t need too much space to showcase these masterpieces beautifully.
