Bandai 1/144 30MM eEXM-40 Egritte 01

Bandai 1/144 30MM eEXM-40 Egritte 01

The eEXM-40 Egritte 01 is a recent addition to the 30 Minutes Missions line — a sleek, agile-frame mecha built on the same modular system that drives the whole 30MM range. The Egritte is positioned as a sharp-silhouette mid-line frame, more streamlined than the bulkier Portanova and more combat-focused than the lighter EEXM Forestieri builds, giving you a clean base for customisation and kitbash work.

If you collect 30MM, the Egritte 01 is a solid foundation kit — strong articulation, clean colour separation, and full compatibility with the wider 30MM modular ecosystem.

This kit is designed for beginner-to-intermediate builders and is a clean snap-fit build with the modular 30MM joint system.

The Egritte 01 carries a streamlined silhouette with full ball-joint and polycap articulation, multiple 3mm hardpoints for weapon and armour swapping, and clean colour separation handled in the runners. The kit is designed as a chassis for customisation: you can build it as supplied or strip it down and rebuild with parts from other 30MM kits, option armour, and weapon packs.

What Makes This Kit Special

  • Sharp Agile-Frame Silhouette: Distinctive design that stands apart from the rest of the 30MM line
  • Multiple 3mm Hardpoints: Extensive customisation points for weapons, armour, and accessory swapping
  • Full Articulation: Ball joints and polycaps throughout for dynamic posing
  • Beginner-Friendly Snap-Fit: Clean assembly without glue, suitable as a 30MM entry kit
  • Strong Colour Separation: Pre-coloured parts deliver the headline look without paint
  • Full 30MM Modular Compatibility: 3mm peg system across all parts for cross-kit customisation
  • Custom Build Potential: Strip and rebuild with parts from other 30MM kits, option armour, and weapon packs

Fast Australian Shipping

Same Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm weekdays ship same day. Orders after 2pm or on weekends ship next business day.

Australian Stock: In stock and ready to ship Australia-wide from Mecha Express. The 1/144 30MM eEXM-40 Egritte 01 is a sharp agile-frame mecha kit with full 30MM modular compatibility and multiple hardpoints for customisation.

What to Watch For

30MM kits in this size range can have slightly soft polycap connections out of the box — if any joints feel loose, a tiny amount of clear nail polish or PVA on the inside of the polycap restores friction without permanently bonding the parts. The sticker placement guide is small; magnify the manual page if you're applying detailed markings.

Builder Tips: Panel lining lifts the kit considerably. Dark grey or black markers work well across the typical 30MM colour palette. For custom builds, plan the kitbash before disassembly — the modular system rewards a clear design intent over random parts swapping.

Build Notes

Snap-fit assembly. No glue required. Nippers recommended for clean part removal. Expect a 1.5-2 hour build. Recommended age 15+.

Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes these Gunpla kits the hottest sellers?

These kits are fan favourites for their detailed design, affordability, and build size, offering a balanced and enjoyable building experience.

Are these hottest seller kits suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Especially the HG kits, which are known for their fewer parts and simplicity, making them a great starting point for new builders.

What is the level of detail in the MG and RG hottest sellers?

MG kits boast a detailed inner frame and additional parts, while RG combines MG’s complexity with HG’s size for an intricate, compact build.

Can I get replacement parts if I lose some during the build?

Yes, if you buy a kit from Gundam Express Australia we will source replacement parts for you. This is not a quick process as parts need to come from Bandai in Japan.

How much space will I need to display these Gunpla?

HG and RG Gundam kits are compact, while MG Gundam are larger but still manageable. You won’t need too much space to showcase these masterpieces beautifully.
