Bandai Gundam Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 (Aile Striker)

The Aile Striker flight pack for the Strike Gundam, Kira Yamato's mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Option Parts Set Gunpla 01 is designed to combine with the Entry Grade 1/144 Strike Gundam to build Aile Strike Gundam, and its connection points also suit HG Strike Gundam kits.

The set carries a proper weapons loadout too: two beam sabers, a bazooka, the MMI-M1001 90mm anti-aircraft shotgun and the Grand Slam sword.

MGEX Strike Freedom Golden Week deal

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
