Bandai 1/144 HGIBO Hyakuren
The STH-05/AC Hyakuren is the Turbines' standard mobile suit in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans — a Calamity War-era frame brought back into modern service and operated alongside Tekkadan throughout Season 2. The Hyakuren has a clean, samurai-influenced silhouette that sets it apart from the bulkier Graze variants run by Gjallarhorn, and the standard light blue and grey colour scheme reads well on a shelf full of darker IBO kits.
If you build IBO mobile suits, the standard Hyakuren is the natural counterpoint to the Tekkadan Gundam Frames and pairs perfectly with the Amida Custom for a Turbines display.
This kit is designed for beginner-to-intermediate builders and is a clean snap-fit build with strong colour separation.
The Hyakuren runs on a streamlined IBO frame with pile bunker arm equipment as the headline weapon. The arm-mounted bunkers articulate into firing configuration, and the kit includes the standard hand weapons. Colour separation handles the light bluish-purple, dark blue, grey, and white scheme through the runners with foil stickers for the markings.

Australian Stock: In stock and ready to ship Australia-wide from Mecha Express. The HGIBO 1/144 Hyakuren is the Turbines' standard mobile suit, with pile bunker arm equipment and hand weapons included.
What to Watch For
The pile bunker arm equipment uses small attachment tabs that can be tight on first installation — take it slow rather than forcing the parts together. The skirt armour is segmented and one or two of the side panels can pop loose during leg articulation. A drop of plastic cement on the inner peg secures them if it bothers you.
Builder Tips: Panel lining on the light bluish-purple sections gives the Hyakuren significant additional depth. A dark grey panel line marker works better than black on the lighter colour, keeping the contrast soft.
Build Notes
Snap-fit assembly. No glue required. Nippers recommended for clean part removal. Expect a 2-3 hour build with panel lining. Action Base sold separately. Recommended age 15+.
