Bandai 1/144 HGUC Juaggu (Unicorn Ver.)
The MSM-04G Juaggu is Neo Zeon's amphibious mobile suit refit, an evolution of the classic Acguy line from the One Year War, brought back into service for the Sleeves during Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. It appears in Episode 4, defending the Palau colony, and brings something genuinely rare to the One Year War-derived Acguy lineage: a built-in 3-barrel mega particle cannon system replacing the original claws. The result is a stubby, almost cartoonishly compact mobile suit that hides a serious anti-warship punch.
If you build Unicorn Gundam mobile suits, the Juaggu (Unicorn Ver.) is one of the more memorable Neo Zeon support units and a great change of pace from the angular Geara Zulus and Kshatriyas of the era.
This kit is designed for beginner-to-intermediate builders and is a snap-fit build with surprisingly strong articulation for the silhouette.
The HGUC Juaggu has a flexible nose section and three poseable barrel cannons that can be configured in multiple positions for the firing pose. The kit also retains the heritage Acguy proportions, so it sits as a clear evolution rather than a complete redesign. Colour separation handles the green, yellow, and grey scheme through multi-coloured runners, with stickers for the sensor and marking details.
What Makes This Kit Special

Three-Barrel Mega Particle Cannon Nose: Three independently poseable cannon barrels on the flexible nose section for varied firing poses
-
Acguy Lineage Refit: Sleeves-era reactivation of the classic One Year War amphibious mobile suit

Surprisingly Poseable: Solid articulation packed into a notoriously short and round silhouette
-
Unicorn Series Design: Faithfully recreates the MSM-04G as it appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Episode 4
-
Strong Colour Separation: Green, yellow, and grey moulding holds up well without paint
-
Stubby, Distinctive Silhouette: Visually unlike anything else in a typical UC display shelf

What to Watch For
The cannon barrels are slim and can rotate too freely in some assembled positions. A tiny dab of clear nail polish or PVA inside the joint adds friction without locking the parts. The nose section uses flexible plastic; avoid forcing the barrels past their natural range or the joint cup can split.
Builder Tips: Panel lining on the green sections lifts the Acguy heritage detail nicely. A dark brown panel line marker works better than black on the green and yellow colours, keeping the contrast warm rather than stark.
Build Notes
Snap-fit assembly. No glue required. Nippers recommended for clean part removal. Expect a 2-hour build given the compact part count. Action Base sold separately. Recommended age 15+.
