The arc-winged 00 successor from Gundam Build Metaverse
The HG 1/144 Gundam 00 Diver Arc is the arc-binder Gunpla from Gundam Build Metaverse, the video series marking the tenth anniversary of the Gundam Build line. It carries the lineage of the 00 Diver and 00 Sky suits, with a fresh set of sweeping arc-shaped binders and clear beam effects. It is a snap-fit kit moulded in colour that builds into a fully posable Gunpla with serious shelf presence for an HG.
Build difficulty
It is a snap-fit HG, so no glue and no paint are needed for a clean build and the colour is moulded in. There is a fair amount of clear effect and 3D metallic-seal detail to fit, plus the binder gimmicks, so set aside a little more time than a plain HG. A pair of nippers for clean runner removal is the main tool worth having.
Technical highlights
The headline is the effect set: the clear parts are moulded in a special photoluminescent resin that soaks up light and glows, so the beam wings and blades read as luminous without any paint. The GN Drive is a newly moulded telescopic part, the arc binders on the shoulders detach and reconfigure, and a sheet of 3D metallic seals adds a glossy, raised finish to the fine detail. Articulation is strong across the frame, so you can pose the binders and the twin swords freely.
What makes this kit special
-
Photoluminescent effect parts: the clear resin absorbs light and emits it for a genuine glow, no paint required.
-
Reconfigurable arc binders: the sweeping shoulder binders detach and reposition for dynamic display.
-
Newly moulded telescopic GN Drive: a fresh part specific to this kit.
-
3D metallic seals: raised, glossy seals for a sharper finish straight out of the box.
-
Twin GN Sword II: a pair of the signature 00-line blades for two-handed poses.
What's in the box
- Snap-fit runners for the Gundam 00 Diver Arc, moulded in colour
- Effect parts (1 set, photoluminescent clear resin)
- GN Sword II x2
- Interchangeable hand parts (left and right, 3 each)
- 3D metallic seal
- Sticker sheet
- Instruction sheet
Compatible accessories
No display stand is included, and the kit poses best in the air, so a Bandai Action Base (sold separately) is worth adding to fly it. A panel-line marker and a sharp pair of nippers are the useful basics for sharpening the build.

What to watch for
We haven't found a consistent body of independent build reviews for this specific kit, so we can't pass on verified fit-and-finish feedback. A couple of honest notes for a kit like this: the large arc binders add weight up high, so it displays best on an action base rather than balancing on its own, and the 3D metallic seals reward patience to line up cleanly. No glue or paint is needed at any point.
Builder tip: the photoluminescent effect parts glow brightest after a few seconds under a bright lamp or torch, so charge them up before you photograph the kit in the dark.
Build notes
No cement or paint required, this is a snap-fit kit moulded in colour. A pair of nippers is the main tool worth having, and the 3D metallic seals plus sticker sheet handle the fine detail. A rewarding build for anyone who has done an HG or two. Recommended age 8 and up.
