Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon put a huge arsenal in a Raven's hands, and Weapon Set 04 pulls four of them straight off the in-game list: the HU-BEN twin-linked Gatling gun, the Tai-Yang-Shou explosive thrower, and the standard and split-fire BML back missile launchers. This is a parts set, not a stand-alone mecha. It's built for 30MM Armored Core VI collectors who want a body kit armed the way it looked on screen, and for anyone building a shelf of ACs with different loadouts.

Build difficulty

This is a snap-fit accessory kit, not a full model build. No cement and no paint are needed to finish it. Parts come off the runners with a pair of nippers and clip straight onto a 30MM Armored Core VI body kit's arm and back-mount points. Where a weapon changes shape between the left and right side, Bandai includes separate mirrored parts, so the only real decision during assembly is picking the correct side for each. Realistically under an hour to cut, clean up the gate marks, and fit all four weapons.

Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2. Some hobby experience is recommended for Skill Level 2 kits. Basic hobby tools including a pair of nippers and a hobby knife are recommended for cleanest results. No Glue is needed for these kits. Kits are all snap together build.
No Cement Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

No Painting Required

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
