Bandai Gunpla Led Unit Blue (1 piece)

Add real light to your build. The Bandai LED Unit (Blue) is a small, battery-powered light designed to slot into Gunpla and other kits that are built with LED mounting points. It gives you a glowing blue light for eyes, thrusters, beam effects or a cockpit, with no soldering or wiring.

How it works. The unit is snap-in and self-contained. It runs on a coin-cell battery (sold separately), so there is no external power or wiring to a base. Bandai builds LED mounting points into certain MG, RG and PG kits, and this unit is sized to fit them.

What's in the box. One blue LED unit, mounting parts, and an instruction sheet. Battery is not included.

Good to know. Blue suits mono-eyes, thrusters and energy weapons. Check your kit's manual for LED support before buying, as not every kit has the mounting points.

Awesome kit, great extras. Only criticism is that the kit comes with a base so you don't need the second one. The kit also doesn't have the ability to take the blue LED bonus so if you don't have another use for it it is wasted. Luckily, I'm a Gundam tragic so will always have uses for extra bases and lighting kits.

Very rare with fair price

If you were one of the lucky ones that were able to travel to Sydney Gundam Base pop-up in 2025 and queued extremely early (like the first 40 or so) on the first day, probably you were able to grab one of these. Otherwise, the only alternative I would know of is traveling to Japan and being uber lucky of having it still being sold at Gundam bases. Otherwise, it's a second-hand market, and prices will go up. That said, the price was fair, I think it would be similar price as using a dropship service from Japan, with the exception that it's much faster and way more guaranteed you will get proper merchandise. So, Mecha Express, Cam, thank you so much for your store!
