Assembly Guide

Skill Level.2 Basic modeling skills are required. Parental supervision may be required for younger children. These kits are generally suitable for beginner builders. A basic set of modeling tools are required including nippers, hobby knife, sanding sticks/paper, file, and tweezers. No glue is needed for the general assembly. Parts will need to be removed by using a pair of nippers and cutting the part away from the runner. Parts may require clean-up where they were removed from the runner.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are a snap together assembly and do not need plastic cement to complete. We always recommend having some plastic cement handy as a part of your modeler's tool kit. If you prefer to fix your model in a particular pose then plastic cement will work. Plastic cement is also perfect to use if a joint is loose. Apply plastic cement in a single thin layer and allow it to dry completely before test fitting. Re-apply more cement if necessary.

Gunpla (plastic model kits) are designed to be built and displayed without the need for painting. Kits are molded in different colours replicating the colours of the actual mecha from the Mecha series. A technique called colour separation, where multiple parts of the model are molded in different colours on the same sprue is also used. Mecha kits often include stickers or water-slide decals that can be applied to the model to enhance its appearance. Some Gunpla kits come with pre-painted parts or parts with pre-applied details, such as metallic or translucent finishes.

Many modelers still choose to paint their kits to customize and add further detail. Painting allows for more creativity and personalization, enabling modelers to achieve unique effects, weathering, and colour schemes that may not be available out of the box. However, the kits are designed to be enjoyable and visually appealing even without painting, making them accessible to a wide range of hobbyists.

Frequently Asked Questions

This 2003 Godzilla looks incredible! Is it difficult to build for someone new to model kits?

Not at all! This Godzilla is designed for modelers of all skill levels. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the parts fit together seamlessly. While some experience might enhance detailing, the base assembly is straightforward, allowing you to enjoy building and displaying your Godzilla!

Since it's for the 70th anniversary, are there any special features besides the packaging?

Absolutely! This commemorative edition celebrates Godzilla's legacy beyond the packaging. The model itself boasts exceptional detail, capturing the specific features and power of the 2003 Godzilla from the film. This allows you to own a truly unique replica of this iconic movie monster!

I love the idea of posing Godzilla in different scenes. How posable is this model kit?

This Godzilla features incredible articulation! The joints move smoothly, allowing you to recreate dynamic poses from the movie or create your own epic battles. Imagine Godzilla unleashing its atomic breath, roaring in defiance, or towering over other kaiju – the possibilities are endless thanks to the impressive poseability!

This sounds like a must-have for any Godzilla fan, but will it be available for a long time?

This Fujimi Godzilla (2003) 70th Anniversary Version is a limited edition release to commemorate Godzilla's 70th year. Once these are gone, they're gone! Don't miss your chance to own a unique piece of Godzilla history and a special tribute to this legendary monster!

I've seen other Godzilla model kits – what makes this 2003 version special?

This kit offers a combination of detail, poseability, and a commemorative design. It captures the specific look of the 2003 Godzilla from the film, allowing you to relive iconic scenes. The high articulation lets you showcase Godzilla's power in dynamic poses, while the 70th-anniversary packaging adds a special touch to this collectible. It's a perfect way to celebrate Godzilla's legacy!

A welcoming start!

This was my first time ordering from this site, and I have absolutely no regrets! My order PGU RX-78-2 arrived very quickly, and to my surprise, it even came with a free Gundam marker. That small gesture truly made me feel welcomed into your community.

This definitely won’t be my last order—this is just the beginning of my support for this store, and I’m excited about the possibility of becoming a VIP member soon! 😊 I’m looking forward to purchasing PG kits and those hard-to-find Gunplas here in the future. Cheers!

An incredible looking kit with one flaw

The look of the kit is incredible and the fact it comes with a stand for the Lance is amazing QOL. However, there is one glaring issue, in that there is no shoulder joint. You heard me. The arms can only rotate, not move outward like in basically all other gunpla. I don't know why they built it this way but it is the one blemish on an incredible looking kit.

Epic Build

What can I say, this build is incredible, although I didn't manage to get the leds working, still, for my first perfect grade, it definitely didn't disappoint, I'm still finishing up the final few steps but very easy to follow instructions even without being able to Japanese.

Its a brand new design of an Zaku that we are all familiar with.
The colouring is closely resembling to a police officers uniform.
Its fitting for new modelers to grab and build.

Pretty good, but not the best Barbatos kit

Barbatos Lupus Rex is probably my favourite design from IBO besides Bael and Full City Rebake, but my copy of this kit has a couple of problems. The many issues that people have is that the joints are awful, but mine has none of that for now, also the proportions are a bit off compared to the anime, hopefully when Bandai releases a MG 1/100 Lupus Rex these problems are not in that kit
